Sanbuk AI Kimchi Culture Festival

The 22nd Sanbuk Pumsil Festival has established itself as Yeoju's representative festival for 22 years. The 22nd Sanbuk Pumsil Festival is held under the sub-theme of "Sanbuk AI Kimjang Culture Festival." Kimjang is a food culture representing the Republic of Korea and a precious tradition in which family and neighbors share affection together. Registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013, kimjang culture embodies the community spirit of making together and sharing together. The Sanbuk AI Kimjang Culture Festival is a new type of kimjang festival that inherits this traditional kimjang culture while incorporating technology so that anyone can participate easily and enjoyably. Fresh agricultural products produced in the region meet advanced technology to create a special festival where visitors can experience not only the joy of kimjang but also the value of local agriculture and the possibilities of future agriculture.
