Jongno Restaurant

Jongno Restaurant, located in Chungik-ro, Uiryeong-gun, is a beef soup and rice restaurant with a 60-year tradition. It is said to have been visited by former Presidents Park Chung-hee and Kim Young-sam, and is also known as the ‘Presidential Gukbap Restaurant.’ This store is a renovated house, so you can feel the atmosphere of the times. Inside, standing tables are spaced out so you can dine comfortably. The representative menu item, beef soup, has a refreshing and deep flavor with thick beef, bean sprouts, green onions, and radish added to the spicy broth. Kimchi, peppers, onions, and soybean paste are provided as basic side dishes, and at lunchtime, you can also enjoy gomtang, a combination of white soup and tender beef.
