Nokwon Restaurant

Nokwon Restaurant is a specialty restaurant for steamed fish located near Gyoam Beach in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do. It has been operating in the same spot for over 30 years, so it has many local regulars, and after being featured on the TV program Heo Young-man's Baekban Travels, it has become a popular restaurant that tourists and travelers visiting Gangwon-do go out of their way to find. The menu includes assorted steamed fish, steamed skate, stir-fried squid, and stir-fried pork. Customers who want rice can add a bowl of steamed rice. The building's exterior also shows the venerable look of an old establishment as old as the restaurant itself. The building's ceiling is rather low, so tall customers may have to duck their heads to enter.
