Gangga-ui Seong

Follow National Highway No. 44 and turn left toward Wonsori and Janghang-ri at about 4km from Hongcheon City towards Chuncheon. You will see Dolsan Mountain, the point where it meets the Hongcheon River, with traces of fighting against the river over a long period of time. It is a firefly village famous for fishing, and the riverside is made of white sand and bean pebbles, adding to the charm. Janghang-ri, a little-known attraction in Hongcheon that only those in the know visit during the summer. The small vertical road along the river below the Hongcheon River Rest Area on the Jungang Expressway creates a rock cliff along the riverside and continues along the river's flow to Janghang-ri, reaching the pension Riverside Castle. It is a pension with a wonderful view of green and lush mountains surrounding the back and a wide river flowing in front. The barbecue you can enjoy on the terrace while looking at the Hongcheon River is excellent.
