Encre Pension

Angkeurie Pension, located on Saekdal-ro in Seogwipo-si, Jeju, is a cozy lodging surrounded by countryside. Its name means 'main house' in the Jeju dialect, and it has a warm atmosphere. There are 7 rooms in total in three types: 15 pyeong, 24 pyeong, and 40 pyeong. The rooms are decorated with yellow clay (hwangto), a traditional Korean material, to promote blood circulation, help relieve fatigue, and ensure a good night's sleep. Three buildings stand on the large site, and paths were made by laying stones on the lawn between the buildings. Cozy and beautiful like a house in a fairy tale, it is also nice to sit in the pavilion and read a book on a fine day.
