Soesokkak Festival

The 22nd Soesokkak Festival, which will be held for two days from September 19th to 20th in the area of ​​Soesokkak, which is blessed with natural scenery, is the representative festival of Hyodon-dong. It publicizes the beautiful nature of Soesokkak and the region's cultural and tourism resources, and provides a place of harmony where local residents and tourists can mingle. At this festival, a variety of performance programs will be held, including the Youth Festival, Soesokkak Music Festival, and Soesokkak Song Festival, and various experience programs such as making anvil dolls, popping balloons, and throwing baseballs will also be operated. In addition, various activities such as on-site participation programs such as Hahyo-hang treasure hunt, women's arm wrestling competition, limbo, outdoor swimming pool, red clay road experience, and ‘Hyodon-dong story through photos’ will be provided to provide unique enjoyment to family visitors and tourists. On the first day of the festival, September 19, there will be an opening ceremony, a congratulatory performance by invited singer Moon Hee-kyung, and fireworks, and on the second day, September 20, the Soesokkak Song Festival, a congratulatory performance by invited singer Cleo, a prize drawing, and a closing ceremony will be held to add to the enjoyment of the festival.

Program

1. Performance programs will include a youth festival, a Seosokkak singing competition, and a Seosokkak music festival
2. On-site participation programs will include a women's arm wrestling competition, a treasure hunt at Hahyohang Port, and a limbo contest
3. Various experience programs will be offered, including making traditional Korean dolls, popping balloons, throwing baseballs, an outdoor swimming pool, and walking along a dirt path
4. A photo exhibition showcasing stories of Hyodong, along with various food stalls, will be held
