Ulsan Soeburi Festival

The Ulsan Iron Beak Festival is the only iron culture festival in Korea where you can experience Ulsan's industrial history and traditional steel culture. Dalcheon Cheoljang, which serves as the background for the festival, is Korea's first iron production site that has produced high-quality iron from the ancient Han Dynasty to the modern and contemporary times, and is a precious space with 2,000 years of iron history. The iron of Dalcheon Iron Jang became an important foundation for Ulsan to grow into a world-class industrial city today, and is also the root of Ulsan's history and identity. The Ulsan Steel Beak Festival consists of a variety of programs such as reenactments of traditional iron making techniques, performances, exhibitions, and experiences so that citizens and tourists can enjoy the history and culture of iron together.
