《Collection, Scenes of the Times》

《Collection, Scenes of the Times》 selects 70 works from the ARKO Art Center's collection, illuminating the major currents of Korean contemporary art and the meaning and value of the collection within the exhibition history of the ARKO Art Center. Following the works of 60 artists who participated in ARKO Art Center exhibitions from the 1970s to the 2000s, it revisits the diverse tendencies of Korean contemporary art of that period and the artistic achievements of the artists. Alongside the works, archival materials showing the artists' activities and the museum's exhibition history are displayed together. Added to this are the collection research findings conducted by external researchers for this exhibition, unfolding the multilayered stories of Korean contemporary art.
