2026 Namdo K-Garden Festival

The 2026 Namdo K-Garden Festival is a nighttime garden festival held in the Yeomun Culture Street and Yeoseo-mi Tourist Plaza area of Yeosu. The festival theme is "Yeosu Night Garden Embracing the Island," and the event runs for a total of 51 days from September 11 to October 31, 2026. The festival aims to utilize the spatial characteristics of the old downtown through content linking gardens and nighttime scenery, and to provide citizens and tourists with opportunities to enjoy garden culture. About 40 gardens, including a representative garden, artist gardens, and citizen participation gardens, will be created at the venue, and it will operate as a space viewable both day and night through various plants and landscape staging. At night, lighting effects are applied to emphasize the garden scenery and provide a viewing environment linked to Yeosu's nighttime tourism resources. During the event period, various contents such as garden commentary programs, cultural performances, experience programs, and citizen participation programs will be operated, and programs linked to nearby commercial districts and tourism resources will also be promoted.
The 2026 Namdo K-Garden Festival is an event aimed at spreading garden culture, revitalizing the old city center, and establishing the foundation for Yeosu as a garden city. Through a garden festival in which citizens and tourists can participate and enjoy together, it aims to promote the spread of sustainable garden culture by utilizing the region's cultural and tourism resources.
