Flower-gazing + Water-gazing, Book Spot

[Kkotmeong + Mulmeong, Chaekjari], which is being promoted as a 2026 reading-based regional revitalization contest, is operated at a representative attraction in Gongju’s royal city center. In April, you can see cherry blossoms at the Chungnam History Museum, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and in May, in the Jemincheon area, which was selected as one of the 2nd Local 100 (100 local cultural attractions) by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. An outdoor library for rest and healing will be created, and various cultural programs will be held, such as a book talk by author Moon-jeong Jeong, a poetry reading by the Gongju Poetry Reciters Association, and a permanent nighttime performance by the Gongju Culture and Tourism Foundation. In addition, a variety of contents were prepared, including a fairy tale performance, operation of an experience booth, an exhibition of past photos of the event venue using the archives of the Princess Research Institute, and a book curation exhibition.
