Haneulnuri Light Aircraft

Haneulnuri light aircraft is the only Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport-designated specialized training institution in the Seoul metropolitan area. The ultralight flight school it operates offers a curriculum for obtaining an ultralight aircraft license. In Korea, anyone aged 17 or older can obtain an ultralight aircraft license, but the written exam covering aviation regulations, aviation weather, flight theory, air traffic and navigation is no easy feat. Since Haneulnuri light aircraft is a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport-designated specialized training institution, completing its curriculum exempts students from three subjects excluding aviation regulations. Thanks to this advantage, it attracts everyone from people trying to fulfill their pilot dreams later in life to students preparing for aviation-related studies.
