Gunsan Jjamppong Festival

Gunsan Jjamppong Festival is a representative gourmet festival using Jjamppong, Gunsan's representative food, and is a festival where you can enjoy the taste of Gunsan Jjamppong, filled with fresh seafood from the sea and abundant local agricultural products. Gunsan Jjambbong became the Jjamppong we enjoy today by adding fresh seafood unique to port cities and spicy red pepper powder suited to the tastes of Koreans to the dish called ‘Choma Myeon’, which Chinese people used to make with pork, cow, and chicken bone broth until the early 1970s. At the event venue, there will be not only Chinese food booths and food booths, but also various experience programs with the theme of Jjamppong and various stage performances, providing special taste and enjoyment to visitors.
