Yongsan National Heritage Night

Hyochang Park, a place we used to pass by in the middle of Seoul, is transformed into a special nighttime cultural space where we can experience memories of independence. The 2026 Yongsan National Heritage Night Tour is a nighttime historical and cultural festival that connects various cultural contents such as night scenery, performances, exhibitions, commentary, and experiences based on the history and symbolism of the independence movement of the 8th ancestors enshrined in Hyochang Park in Seoul, so that citizens can experience and enjoy the history of independence and the value of Hyochang Park more closely. In particular, by reinterpreting the unique history and placeness of Hyochang Park into modern nighttime content, we plan to establish differentiated nighttime cultural content unique to Yongsan-gu and create it as a residential cultural space where residents and visitors can stay and enjoy history, culture, and leisure, as well as a nighttime attraction representing Yongsan. This event is not a festival completed by just one organization or program, but is intended to be a regional cooperative national heritage night tour created by local public institutions, veterans and historical organizations, culture and arts institutions, schools, universities, civic groups, and local communities by adding their own contents and expertise.
