The 8th Daejeon Special Visual Film Festival

The Daejeon Special Visual Effects Film Festival is the only film festival in Korea specializing in special visual effects, operated by linking the creative, technical, and industrial fields based on Daejeon's special visual effects industry infrastructure. Its main programs are the DFX OTT Awards [OverTheTop], which highlights the special visual effects achievements of domestic video content; DFX Screening, consisting of screenings of special visual effects works and conversations with the audience; DFX Tech Show, which shares AI and VFX technology and related industry trends; and DFX Pitch, which discovers feature-length special visual effects projects. The DFX OTT Awards is an awards program that highlights special visual effects technology and expressive achievements in domestic OTT content. DFX Screening is a program that screens works utilizing special visual effects and has directors, actors, and production staff converse with the audience about the works. DFX Tech Show is a program introducing video production technology and industry status, including AI and VFX. DFX Pitch is a program that discovers feature-length special visual effects projects and provides opportunities for connection with production and industry officials. The Daejeon Special Visual Effects Film Festival is a cultural and arts event in which creators, technical experts, industry officials, and audiences participate to share achievements and industry trends in the field of special visual effects.
