Hoengseong Summer Night Festa

The 2026 Hoengseong Summer Night Festa is a nighttime outdoor multi-genre festival held every year from June to August on the Seomgang riverbank in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon State. Centred on the sensibility concept of a "night picnic", its core identity is the flow from active water activities by day to emotional performances by night, set against the refreshing natural environment of the Seomgang River. More than a simple performance or hands-on event, it is a stay-type festival designed so that visitors can spend a full day enjoying emotional spaces such as food, rest areas and photo spots together with culture and arts performances. Organized by the Hoengseong Culture and Tourism Foundation, it aims to attract visitors from across the wider region including the Seoul metropolitan area and to strengthen Hoengseong's nighttime tourism brand.
