Min Byeong-gal Botanical Library

Min Byeong-gal Plant Library is a plant library located on the first floor of the Cheonripo Arboretum Eco Healing Center and opened on June 21, 2021. As the first library in a private arboretum, it possesses over 17,000 books, including 10,400 books on plants, 3,200 reading books, and 3,400 valuable books, including the founder's plant management diary. Most of the books owned were collected by founder Min Byeong-gal, and the shelves were organized around books that individuals kept in their library. There is a wealth of information related to overseas plants, and you can see rare materials such as a plant encyclopedia published for the first time in Korean, as well as the plant management diary of founder Min Byeong-gal, who loved trees, making it a special book trip. It is also a good idea to tour the arboretum along with the library.
