Wonju Archery Range

Wonju Archery Range is an archery range built on a 119,463㎡ site in Munmak-eup, Wonju-si, and is equipped with all-weather facilities regardless of season and weather, making it a mecca for archery. Located a 5-minute drive from Munmak IC, it is in the spotlight as an optimal training site for archers across the country due to its excellent proximity. In 2023, about 50 people, including candidates for the national archery team, visited Wonju Archery Range for winter training, and in 2022, the Asian Archery Association (WAA) Asian Archery Challenge Competition, in which 11 countries from the Asian continent participated, was held at the Wonju Archery Range. In addition, it is used as a venue for various domestic and international competitions, national team evaluation matches, and field training. Wonju Archery Field is available for rental for groups, and is accepting applications for rental in the following order: events organized and hosted by the state or city, various competitions and events necessary for the promotion of sports, events hosted by schools at all levels, events targeting youth, and events involving a large number of people, including workplaces and hobbyists.
