Sochang Experience Center

소창체험관은 1938년에 건축된 한옥과 염색공장이었던 옛 평화직물터를 2016년에 리모델링하며 꾸며졌다.강화군 전통산업인 소창에 대한 전통 문화유산 보존과 가치를 재조명하는 공간으로, 화문석에서 시작되는 강화의 직물산업 역사와 마지막 종착지인 소창이야기에 대한 이해는 물론 소창손수건 스탬프 체험, 다도 체험, 소창직조시연 체험이 상시로 운영되어 소창을 오감으로 느낄 수 있다.

Joyang Bangjik

Joyang Textile, Ganghwa's first rayon factory established in 1933 with domestic capital, fell into ruin as Ganghwa's textile industry declined over the years. The building, which had been collapsing unsightly, was reborn as a huge café. The crumbling walls became a wonderful art gallery and cinema, the long workbenches turned into coffee tables, and the space left by both machines and people was filled with antiques found in China, Europe, and elsewhere. An English door with a broken glass window, a round mirror from an old Czech train, and a fish-shaped bread machine that struggled to flip itself every winter are placed so naturally as if they had always been there, preserving the factory site and building frame of over 990㎡ (about 300 pyeong) and leaving the story of time throughout the café. Currently, various beverages and cakes are sold.

김포 장릉

Jangneung is a historic site and the royal tomb of Prince Sohyeon, posthumously honored as King Wonjong, the biological father of Injo, the 16th king of Joseon (1623-1649), and his wife, Queen Inheon of the Gu clan. The size and specifications of the tomb seem to represent the archetype of the mid-Joseon period, and below the tomb is a jaesil (ritual house) where ancestral rites are held; it is also the building where Yeongjo, the 21st king of Joseon, and Jeongjo, the 22nd king, visited annually to perform ancestral rites.
