Ssanggye Myeongcha

Located near Hwagae Market in Hwagae-myeon, Hadong-gun, Ssanggyeong Tea operates its own tea plantations and farms covering approximately 132,200 square meters. They cultivate environmentally friendly, pesticide-free green tea, as well as about 150 varieties of wild tea. Ssanggyeong Tea offers a variety of teas, including infusions and solid teas, officially recognized as products of the 2023 Hadong World Tea Expo. Their signature handcrafted teas (Ujeon, Jaksul, Cheonghohyang) are particularly popular, along with a selection of simple desserts and rich green tea ice cream. The building, which won a gold award in the Gyeongsangnam-do Architectural Awards, features a modern and clean interior. To the left, you'll find tables for enjoying tea, while to the right, a wide selection of teas and tea-related items are available for purchase. The spacious, staircase-style seating connecting the first and second floors is a popular feature. On the second floor, a tea museum showcases various artifacts related to tea. Ssanggyeong Tea, with its 40-year tradition, is dedicated to popularizing wild teas from Jirisan Mountain and promoting their excellence to the world.
