2026 Dandandan Festival

Dandandan (端單團) means the foremost 端, the one and only 單, and our 團; it signifies "our one and only foremost festival."
This festival was organized to provide creative opportunities for local artists centered on Gangwon-do's traditional culture, promote citizens' cultural enjoyment, and boost tourism. The 2026 Dandandan Festival, held for three days from November 26 to 28, offers a rich array of performances: the ear-catching, unrivaled narrative of Ahn Ye-eun, a genius singer-songwriter who leads sing-alongs and empathy across all generations; the invited performance of Chuda Hye Chagis, the most unconventional collision of tradition and modernity and the most unrivaled neo-traditional band of our time; the Harmony Traditional Performing Arts Festival featuring children and youth from five organizations in Gangneung; and the Yeongsanhong Concert featuring four performance teams from Gangwon, along with traditional Korean musician Nam Sang-il, the Animation Crew (America's Got Talent TOP 10, Korea's Got Talent TOP 3), the Kim Da-ham Trio, Park Jin-o (JINO), past Yeongsanhong Challenge winning teams, and local artists.
