Seongju Melon & Life Culture Festival

In May, when melon flowers bloom, the "Seongju Melon & Life Culture Festival" is held in Seongju, where King Danjong's baby fetus is located.
It will be held in Seongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do for four days from May 14th (Thursday) to May 17th (Sunday). Starting with the reenactment procession of the Taebongan of King Sejong's placenta chamber on the first day and the residents' unity program, various events will be held, including the opening ceremony (theme performance, congratulatory performance), melon song festival, light of life and love concert, and byeolmoe tug-of-war. In addition, Seed Island for family visitors with children, Melon Lounge with abundant melon tasting, recreation and game experience programs, Life Trail, Life Theme Hall, and Melon Healing Park are operated against the backdrop of the beautiful willows in the forest outside the castle, adding to the specialness.
