Tongyeong Maritime Tourism Park

Tongyeong Marine Tourism Park on Misuhaebang-ro in Tongyeong, created in 2007, is a rest space that combines sightseeing and leisure. Cello-shaped street lamps, seagulls and the sea come together in distinctive lighting that makes the night view very beautiful. Various cultural and artistic events unfold around the circular Oasis Plaza in the center of the park. On the beach deck toward the sea, a white sailboat-shaped membrane structure and, in summer, an indigo-blue water space make it a good place to walk while enjoying views of the Tongyeong Canal. The park also has a traffic plaza for children's traffic safety education and an artificial climbing wall for climbing enthusiasts. There are also courts for futsal, jokgu and badminton, so visitors can enjoy leisure activities. It is close to Tongyeong Bridge and Hyeongeumsan Pass, allowing combined sightseeing.
