Asan Ecological Insect Center

Asan Ecological Insect Garden is a place where you can see and touch live insects, and is located in the lower part of Asan Green Tower in Asan Environmental Science Park. In the insect learning room, you can learn about insects in general, including various taxidermied insects on display, and you can even spin a silkworm cocoon spinning wheel yourself. The glass ecological greenhouse is comprised of the Aquatic Insect Hall, where you can meet creatures living in the water, the Land Biological Hall, where you can meet creatures living on land, the Air Purification Hall, where you can meet plants with air purifying functions, the Insect Ecology Hall, where you can meet various real insects, and the Butterfly Hall, where you can learn about butterflies. Additionally, special exhibitions about insects are held. Experience and education programs include eco-classes that satisfy the five senses, so you can apply in advance to participate.
Since the Asan Ecological Insect Garden, Asan Green Tower Observatory, and Jang Yeongsil Science Museum are located within the Environmental Science Park, it is more convenient and cheaper to purchase an integrated admission ticket.
