Uiseong Superfood Garlic Festival

Uiseong County, a main garlic-producing region, has run annual tourism festivals linked to local agricultural and specialty products, and from October 3 to 5, 2026, the 'Uiseong Superfood Garlic Festival & Sky Drens Run in Uiseong' will be held throughout Uiseong-eup. This festival combines food and agricultural experiences centered on Uiseong garlic with local outdoor events, designed to simultaneously attract visitors and promote the region. Key elements include garlic-related exhibition, tasting, and promotional booths; experience programs themed on local food culture and agriculture; and Sky Drens Run, a marathon-style running event linked to the festival site. The venue uses the Namdaecheon Gubong Park area in Uiseong-eup and surrounding event spaces. Thus, this regional festival is planned to promote the local brand value of Uiseong garlic and, going beyond simple viewing events, to encourage tourists to stay and move around through experience- and participation-based programs.
