Incheogol Village

Anseong Incheogol Village is a small rural village located with Seounsan Mountain in the southernmost part of Gyeonggi-do as a folding screen. It is said that a long time ago, a good man came down and said that this village would be a place where many benevolent people would come from, so he named it Incheogol by adding ‘Eojil-in’. This place has a landscape of forest drainage and mineral water from the place where the queen of the Samhan Dynasty was buried, and there are so many persimmon trees that there are persimmon trees in every house, so it was also called Gamgol.
Beginning in 1901, when Father Montbert from France planted grape seedlings in the front yard of Anseong Cathedral, Seoun-myeon, where Incheogol is located, became the main producing area for Anseong grapes. Among them, Incheogol Village became a bustling village every fall with the experience of harvesting seedless Geobong and Shine Muscat. In addition to the experience center, there are various things to see and places to rest, such as lotus ponds, mineral springs, and plant tunnels.
In Incheogol Village, you can experience different rural experiences depending on the season. There are different experiences available throughout the four seasons. In the spring program, you can enjoy picking Seolhyang strawberries, making strawberry macarons, and making mugwort rice cakes. In the summer program, you can enjoy digging up potatoes and picking plums, and in the fall program, you can enjoy picking Geobong grapes, making red pepper paste with grapes, and digging up sweet potatoes. For the final winter program, you can enjoy making strawberry soap and lemonade. In addition, there is an all-season rail sled that children can enjoy all year round.
