Bongjae Fishing Area

Bongjae Fishing Site is a fishing spot located on the west side of Bongjae Reservoir in the northern part of Asan. In addition to the fishing usually enjoyed along the reservoir shore, it is equipped with small, medium, large, and extra-large floating fishing platforms, pier-type platforms, containers, mini pensions, an on-site restaurant, and a shop, so you can fish conveniently until dawn. The floating platforms are basically equipped with electric blankets, TVs, fans, and toilets, and medium-sized and larger floating platforms additionally have refrigerators and air conditioners. The fish species caught here include crucian carp as the main catch, along with Israeli carp and bluegill.
The reservoir's beautiful scenery makes it a great place not only for fishing but also for walks and drives. Nearby attractions include the tomb of Yi Chungmugong (Yi Sun-sin) and Hyeonchungsa Shrine.
