Yongsan Cultural Center

Yongsan Cultural Center is a specialized cultural and arts organization dedicated to various cultural activities, the discovery of cultural resources, and arts education for the residents of Yongsan-gu. Established in 1997 with the approval of the Mayor of Seoul, and operating as a non-profit organization with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Yongsan-gu, it is governed by the Local Cultural Center Promotion Act. The center offers a wide range of cultural programs, including youth art competitions, free screenings of quality films for families, the Yongsan Family Literary Contest, cultural heritage site tours, special exhibitions featuring Yongsan artists, the Yongsan Cultural Family Festival, student art exhibitions, the publication of local historical materials, and the "Yongsan Culture" publication series. Through these activities and diverse cultural courses for adults and children, the center contributes to the development of culture in the Yongsan area and provides citizens with opportunities to enjoy cultural experiences.
