Sinmi Gallery

Sinmi Gallery, which seeks to improve citizens' artistic literacy, opened in 1984. With a scale of about 30 pyeong, it operates planned invitational exhibitions, venue rentals, exhibitions, and cultural projects as its main activities. Since its opening, it has run rental exhibitions alongside numerous invitational and planned exhibitions, while broadly embracing diverse artistic activities. Based on this, it has become a cozy art-specialized space that enhances artists' creative activities and adds to citizens' artistic literacy and enjoyment. Bongsan-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, where Sinmi Gallery is located, can be called an art street. This is because many galleries are situated nearby, allowing one to see Daegu's cultural and artistic environment at a glance. Galleries in Bongsan-dong include Yesong Gallery, Sinmi Gallery, MJ Gallery, Jungang Gallery, and Dongwon Gallery.
