2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale

The 2026 Gyeonggi International Ceramics Biennale, hosted by the Korea Ceramic Foundation, is a leading international ceramics culture and art event in Korea. It will be held from September 18th to November 1st, 2026, in the areas of Icheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju in Gyeonggi Province. This year's Biennale, themed "Earth Makes," aims to showcase the new possibilities and value of ceramics created through the interplay of earth and nature, technology, and art. In addition to international exhibitions and competitions, academic programs, and international workshops, a variety of content will be offered, including a children's Biennale, hands-on programs, a craft festival, a ceramics market, and outreach programs. The event is designed to be a cultural and artistic festival where residents, Korean artists, and tourists can participate together, allowing everyone to experience ceramic culture throughout Gyeonggi Province.
